Dr. Shim Chung Nam
BDS (Malaya), MFDS RCS (Edinburgh)
Dr. Shim Chung Nam obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of Malaya (UM) in 2011. While serving in public hospital/clinic in Johor, he has received his Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
His interest in aesthetic dentistry has led him to attend training in orthodontics and restorative dentistry. Dr. Shim has been an Invisalign provider and worked in Platinum provider clinic at Sutera Utama, Johor Bahru for 6 years. This doesn’t stop him from constantly updating his knowledge and learning from the top experts from Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and rest of the world.
Dr. Shim believes in listening to patient’s problem to understand their concerns. He explains treatment option available and procedure details thoroughly to ensure patients get the most appropriate treatment for them. Patients always feel comfortable and secure during their visit.
After work, Dr. Shim enjoys his family bonding time with his lovely wife and kids, indulges himself in coffee brewing, gardening, photography and techie gadget.
Dr. Joan Chee
BDS (AIMST)
Dr. Joan is a young and passionate dental surgeon who is known for her gentleness and patience.
She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from AIMST University in 2018. Upon graduation, she served as a dental officer with the Ministry of Health in Sarawak and has attached with the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Paediatric Dentistry during her 2 years serving in the government sector.
Thanks to her passion in dentistry, Dr. Joan actively involved herself in various dental courses especially in aesthetic restorative dentistry. She strongly believed that the function and aesthetic of the teeth are equally important for the patients’ well-being. Patients’ needs is always her priority in treatment planning. In addition, she is good in children dentistry and loves to deal with the little ones as a good dental health starts at an early age.
Being a person who is focusing on self-development and personal well-being, Dr. Joan loves to spend her free time reading up various articles and doing pilates exercises.

Dr. Hung Ik Quang
BDS (AIMST)
He attained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from AIMST University with First Class Honour in 2021. He served his time with the Ministry of Health (MOH) as a Dental Officer at Malacca. He completed his attachment to the Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) and Paediatric Dentistry in Hospital Melaka during his government service.
Being a qualified dentist registered with Malaysian Dental Council, he also has special interest in Oral Surgery. He is a motivated, patient focused dental practitioner, passionate about educating patients from all walks of life the importance of proper dental care.
He believes in ensuring every patient understand their treatment plans and procedure thoroughly before getting started.
Other than dentistry, Dr Hung is an avid sport player and actively involves in various sports activities like catching Frisbee on field, playing basketball, swimming and occasionally hitting a gym. In addition to that, Dr Hung enjoys listening to various types of music during his free time.
Dr. Anne Teor An Qi
DDS (USM)
Dr Anne obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the prestigious Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2020. She thereafter served in the government service in Kuantan.
Following her departure from government service in 2022, Dr Anne joined private practice and built a successful practice with a particular focus in aesthetic dentistry. In 2024, Dr Anne moved to Johor to continue her dental career, and looks forward to a long and fruitful career serving the dental needs of her patients.
Dr Anne believes that everyone deserves a beautiful smile which brings them confidence and makes an impactful change in their day to day lives. She believes that each patient is unique, and strives to provide personalised service to all her patients.
Dr Anne’s passion for bettering the lives of her patients leads her to regular attendances at seminars and workshops to upskill herself and keep abreast of recent developments in the dental field.
After work, Dr Anne indulges in her hobbies, which include reading, drawing and photography. She hopes to one day have a family of dogs, including a Samoyed and a Golden Retriever.
